We officially launched our 2026 Impact Evaluation, Creating Space to Rebuild, celebrating 15 years of More Than a Home and what we’ve learned about helping women rebuild after prison.

Our CEO Amelia Pickering and Bonnie Ashton from Future Generation Women talk through what that looks like in practice, and the opportunity this creates for employers when they hire based on what someone can do rather than what they've done.

Recently, our team set up this home for a woman to move into – everything from building furniture to the personal touches like linen, tableware and a welcome basket.

We are thrilled to share we’ve secured Australian Government Crisis and Transitional Accommodation Program (CTAP) funding to purchase three new transitional homes in Melbourne’s East.
