Sudden Carers Guide Launch 2026

On Wednesday 14 October, we launched our Sudden Carers Guide during National Carers Week.

When a mum is taken into custody, family and friends often step in to care for her children with no warning. The guide gives them practical support from the first hours to the weeks ahead. It was co-designed with carers and families with lived experience.
